So i will start with the most exciting news.... drum role please...... President threw me a curve ball for transfers and i will be opening up Wolfville Nova Scotia and training a new missionary! "Opening" an area means that there are currently no missionaries there. There are Elders in the town over which is Kentville and it is probably the most solid ward in the whole mission so i am beyond excited to be serving there. They took sisters out about 8 months ago and are really excited for us to be coming back! The only down side is that the ward is completely scent-free which means i will not be able to use any of the shampoo, conditioner or perfume that i was sent for christmas. They give us nasty scent free hair products, deodorant and even scent free laundry detergent.... woohoo!! But i am excited to be training a new sister! It will be sooo much fun!
The most common response when i tell people where i am getting transferred to is "you lucky little bugger" (i am getting pretty famous in the mission for getting what i want ;) so although i didn't get charlottetown this is a close second best) And i am currently in the process of getting president to still let me come to the leadership training they will be having this upcoming transfer. So far he said yes but only if i give a training.... so we will see!
CHRISTMAS WAS WONDERFUL!! I love love love the Christmas season! On Christmas Eve we went with the Elders to snow-flake members doors and we left them cookies. It was lots of fun, then we played some basketball and then went to a members home for dinner. Then that night we got permission to attend a Wesleyan church service and a catholic church service... they were.... interesting.... The catholic church had a beautiful building and the music was amazing, it was just reeeeallly long...

I miss everyone a lot but i am beyond excited to work as hard as i can in my new area for these next 3 months and then i am home bound! Scary thought but also really exciting!
I have been pondering a lot lately about my new years resolutions for 2016. I have been trying to form them to our life purpose. So i have 2 goals for each (Physical body, have joy, prepare to meet God) Something that i found cool is that my goals for having joy and preparing to meet God are actually very similar and flow well with each other. And it is because the only way to have true joy is when you are progressing in the gospel and doings Gods will. That is where true joy comes from, in satisfaction of knowing that right now, i am where God wants me to be.
I am grateful for this Christmas season that we have had. It was refreshing, fun, and motivating. I am SO excited for this new transfer. It will be full of adventures and excitement. I hope everyone had a good week with friends and family! Thank you to everyone who sent me Christmas packages, they were very much appreciated. I loved and appreciated each note and gift!!
